The following repairement procedure was given to me by Doug Kniffen. Thank you Doug.
1) Sanding dome
2) Repairing cracks with wood glue
3) Applying 3 successive coats of Alkyd oil based primer
4) Applying polyester cloth with the same primer on the painted surface just after the last coat. Saturation of the cloth is very important at this point. Cloth is then fixed to the dome with regular board pin
5) One day after, covering the cloth with two coats of Acryl-Urethane floor paint
Materials used:
1) 2 liters of thinner
2) 2.5 liters of Oil primer
3) 2.5 liters of Floor paint
4) 20 meter square of cloth
5) Wood glue
6) Board pins
